Ailana (Evi) Gaggstatter
Since 2004 i call Puerto Viejo my home , originally from Germany, i lived for about 10 years in the Canary Islands and came to Costa Rica with my 2 sons for holidays and stayed !
The charme of Etno culture mix, the constant warm caribbean weather and of course the abundance of raw nature conquered my heart and still after many years i love it to live here.
Over the years i learned a lot about costa rican traditions, culture, and also its difficulties to deal with legal aspects, selling or buying a property, plan , built and maintain houses in the caribbean.
With over 20 years of living in the area of Puerto Viejo and experience in Property Management and Vacation Rentals my Focus is now to help others to find their Dream Property and help them through the jungle of legal aspects.

Hi, I’m Darío O. M. born in 1994 and proudly raised in Puerto Viejo de Limón (Talamanca), on the magical southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. I grew up surfing the waves and exploring the mountains of this vibrant and life-filled land. My greatest passions are surfing, music, and adventures in nature.
I’m married and a father to a beautiful daughter—both of them born and raised in this tropical paradise we are fortunate to call home.
In addition to working in real estate, I lead a community project focused on empowering the youth of Puerto Viejo, helping them discover their talents and connect with their spiritual essence. Through surfing as a lifestyle, we promote healthy habits, ecological awareness, and a deep connection to our natural surroundings.
I truly enjoy guiding people through the process of finding, acquiring, and developing properties—turning dreams into reality and adding value to every project. My commitment goes beyond a simple transaction: I’m driven to ensure that our land ends up in responsible hands, with people who respect and love this community as much as we do.
I believe in building a legacy based on sustainability, harmony, and love for the Southern Caribbean.
